Long Island Cup 2025

**Floral Park Storm: A Rebellious Comeback**

This isn’t just a story about a group of girls—it’s about fierce rebellion against the odds. The Floral Park Storm thought they were stuck in the shadow of their so-called "better" opponents, but these 12 girls didn’t just settle for being second best. They tore through the competition in the Long Island Cup, proving that grit and determination can shatter expectations.

Starting with 32 teams, they clawed their way to the top, reaching the semi-finals and standing among just four teams left. What a spectacle! The sweat and dedication poured into this team by their coaches became the fuel that ignited an unforgettable cup run—a true underdog story for the ages.

Sure, the Storm faced a tough battle and ended up losing 3 to 1, but it was a testament to their heart and determination. They fought tooth and nail until the final whistle blew, showing everyone what they’re made of. Talk about a true Cinderella story!

But this isn’t the end. The Storm will be back with a vengeance—bigger, stronger, and more determined than ever.
So, watch out because when the storm brews, it brings a wild energy that’s impossible to ignore.
It's time to rally!

East Meadow Soccer Tournament

We are thrilled to celebrate the incredible journey of our Floral Park team, who secured second place in the top bracket of the East Meadow soccer tournament! Our girls hit the ground running, showcasing their talent with two amazing back-to-back shutouts. They worked like a well-oiled machine on the pitch, demonstrating teamwork and determination.

In our third game, we faced a thrilling challenge, tying it up at 2-2, showing resilience every step of the way. Although we ultimately fell short in the championship match, the spirit of our team shined bright, proving that they are much more than just a soccer team—they’re a family.

The support from the Storm Chasers was nothing short of phenomenal, cheering our girls on from the sidelines with unwavering enthusiasm! As coaches, we couldn't be prouder of these remarkable girls. Their commitment and teamwork are inspiring, and we look forward to seeing them continue to build on their success each week.

Let’s keep the momentum going! We are….STORM!
